I don't know about you guys , but with me being British and everything , i am really , really, REALLY , looking foward to this game coming out , even though EA won't tell me when. Anybody interested enough to know when it's coming out ?????????

Yes indeed. The Fifa games are always good. However, due to EA's crappy attitude towards xbox I won't be buying this game if it even comes out for xbox. I heard that EA will no onger bring any Fifa games to xbox. Fifa World Cup was the last. I hope this isn't true but it is a possibility.

I hate EA!

You heard wrong. 2003 is coming to xbox and 2003 will be good because the ball will be its own model this time so if it hits the body it will bounce out a random direction unlike 2002 and previous titles where the ball was part of the model.

Early 2003 is my reckoning. But I can't find it on the OXM listing of games to be released. I just hope the gameplay isn't that very complicated since I just want to have fun whilst playing football.

PS. Oh, and Arsenal are gonna keep the double! :D

FIFA better come out to the xbox! It is the best soccer game and its presence will be missed if EA decides to ditch us!

Well , according to this months official x-box magazine , it is coming to x-box , definatlely !. The only question is when , i don't think it will be october , but it will be b4 2003 . Maybe late november ?????????

I must have this game. Fifa 2002 with so wicked. I know that fifa 2003 is going to be even better.:) I just need to wait until October 28th.

Although I don't know if any of it is the ingame engine. I am getting hyped! Although I won't buy this title brand new. I will only trade for it or buy it used because it is EA and they seem to discriminate against xbox.

I am with all you peeps. Fifa is one of my favorite games, and I think my brother and I may have mastered it! I can't wait to get the new one, I just hope they get rid of the times when you can see the ball go through people on the replays, it kind of makes me angry when my opponents scores a goal when it goes through one of my players.

Also, this is kinda weird, when I play it seems that I get better at playing soccer on the team. My reactions are much quicker, and I notice open players more often. Kinda ****ed up the way the world works huh?

You cant be serious K-Rock!! Halo 2 can't come out that late!! How long does it take to finish a game that they have allready talked some much about and confirmed???

Anyway, it sucks...I want my halo 2 in November at the latest!!

Well , it seems that there are a lot more FIFA fans than i thought there would be :) , does anyone know if october 28th or 30th or whatever the date it 's coming out is the worldwide release date or jus the U.S release date ???????:confused:

I am pretty sure that is the US release date. How about we call football by its real name from now on. I hate it when people call american football, football. We will call american football tackle. We will call soccer by its rightful name, football.

I am starting to get really hyped about FIFA 2003. It just looks so sweet in that video! Football forever!

I like FIFA series , I might get it for the XBox.
Is EA Sports bring out they "The FA Premier League Stars 2003" soccer games this year as well , EA Sports Euro 2004 will come out in 2004 before Euro 2004.


EA Sports to soccer games is like what Capcom do with fighting games , just keep bringing them out.but they not the only ones :) :eek:

i have fifa 2002 for my gc, and its a very good game, im going to follow the tradition and get 03 for my gc, im just too used to the controls. i think you can understand that

Everybody says that video is in game graphics (on the xbox) and I am very excited. I hope they get even better! In North America very little football games come out. There is Sega Soccer Slam, Virtua Striker, Fifa, and their used to be International Superstar Soccer and David Becham Soccer. Another one is Red Card Soccer. ISS was good and Fifa is probably the best. Virtua Striker sucks ass and I havent played the rest. Wow there are more than I thought. Still, only 2 out of 6 good games isnt a very good record. I lost my train of thought.

I thought Fifa 2002 is the one that sucked, with only the World Cup mode in it or something? Maybe i am just thinking of something else. Whos knows.

in UK Fifa games are always released in November, so FIFA 2003 will be released in UK in November 2002
as it has been for many years in Uk. just in time for Xmas then...

You can unlock other modes in 2002. It isn't just the World Cup though that's it's main theme. FIFA 2002 was OK and I liked it's manual shoots and passed (though it's very tricky at first) but hated it's "Star" Players thing. There are still really annoying niggles with the FIFA series that I hate such as the ball control and skills. I for one would like to see individual player skills and moves be put up there. Also with the X-Boxes HD I wouldn't mind seeing a more indepth "Training Mode" where player(s) needs to be kept training to keep all his/their attributes up. I mean Championship Manager series are excellent games but it's only management and I get bored to easily when selling or buying the likes of Figo and Ronaldo (doesn't everybody?) but a football game with the "managements" of CM? Wow! Of course I'm not talking about the indepth issues of management but I would like to see a more involved gaming. Maybe the game could be designed to cater for it's specific user depending on his/her level of skill whilst playing a game? (Max Payne "Fugitive" setting but alot more advance). FIFA 2003 won't have that but it will have other things. Perhaps a football game that will have it in the future? Well here's to hoping.

PS. Yes, I am a Arsenal fan. Been a Arsenal fan for almost 9 years now (I'm 16) and I still think they can keep the double! C'mon you Gunners!

by watching that vid i can see this game is gonna be on my shelf next to halo, the graphics look awesome and i could see the first thing was zanetti and it looked exaclty like him, this game is gonna be great...is there a date for this game to come out? or is there any info about it...post it! thanx peace out
