Are military games like ghost recon or swat going to suppport this option? I played SOCOM for the first time yesterday and voice support added a whole new element to the game. It would be awesome if a game for the xbox used voice support with the xboxlive headset.

In SOCOM, can you talk to computer players? I think I read somewhere that you can talk to cpu players??

You've posted 112 times today. Talk about some serious spamming. Don't you have a life?

Correct me if I'm wrong.... But that is the point of the xbox live headset, right?

Yeah you can talk to the AI players in your squad in single player. Bascially you say things like "[Name of squad/guy], run to, crosshairs" and the guy will run to your crosshairs. Pretty simple.

What I meant was, that in SOCOM, you can give commands to your AI teammates over the headset. I.E. "bravo ambush" or "bravo attack to charlie".

Anyone know of any games that will support this?

They should make a modem for Xbox! :) Dreamcast had 8 players online chatting with a microphone, with just a modem. (alien front online) it was awesome

Hello... you do realize that the Xbox has an Ethernet port right... with it they will have more than just 8 measly people yakkin it up... Jesus... does anyone else think his statement went absolutely no where...

P.S. SOCOM DOES NOT SUPPORT VOICE AUGMENTATION THAT IS AVAILABLE ON XBOX LIVE, THE PS2 SIMPLY DOES NOT CURRENTLY HAVE THE SOFTWARE TO DO IT. Maybe someday they will, but as it stands, Xbox Live is the only online gaming slated to have voice filters.
