Why I Have To Get Madden Over Fever!! Help Me Change My Mind!!

after playing Fever 2002 at toys r us many times with a buddy.. i find one BIG thing wrong with Fever... even in 2 player mode when you are choosing a play you only have 1 box.. which makes it incredibly easy for your buddy standing right next to you to know your play.. SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME A WAY TO GET AROUND THIS!!

Don't worry, right in the Fever manual it tells you of a key to press to mask your screen selection from your buddy next to you. It basically will not highlight or show what you select. Its all good, not an issue!

there is a way to get 4 selection screens up to choose a play . if you go to wwww.xbox.com and play one of there movies for mon night games in there theuy show them picking from 4 selections

ok ok .. i am calmed.. but tommorrow i go out and pre-buy the games.. can someone with the game already look it up in the book and tell me that there is a 4 box play selection?? I NEED CONFORMATION!! ASAP

All is well my fellow Xbox brothren, the manual does indeed show a screenshot of the play picker, and it is a 4 play selection window. Also, to hide the play selector from your buddy, it is the right trigger that does so. My favorite addition to this game, is the ability to change a specific recievers route on the fly before snap in order to take advantage of the defense's formation. This game will indeed rock!

Haven't played it myself, but the manual makes it look like the standard playpicker screen has 4 play options by default.

As for changing routes on the fly, the manual reads:

1. When QB is set, press WHITE to display hot route controls
2. Press the button for the reciever to change
3. Use d-pad to select new route
4. after selecting route press the reciever button again to accept the change
