If you could hook your Xbox up to your computer network, and have you computer share its dailup connection, in theory couldnt you play on XBL. I saw an interview w/ the developers of NFL2k3, Visual concepts, and they said the actual gameplay runs off of 56k bandwith, and all the extra bandwidth that broadband gives you they use it for voice and other things. Now since 2k3 is made for the PS2 as well it makes sense that they designed it for 56k compatibility. Now NFL Fever 2003 may not be that way. But that means there is a good possibility that any 3rd party game that goes to the ps2 and Xbox could be played on a 56k connection. Am I wrong, is this setup not feasible?

IF AND ONLY IF they make it so if you do not have your voice commander plugged in it doesnt download the voice data you might be able to IF they dont run a speed test on your line.
I think microsoft might run a speed test and see if you have 64up and down at least. This means you would need ISDN + to get online. I wonder if they will have a speed tester at login. I bet money they will.
Ill be the first to post how my Dual ISDN does online.

I hope they also have some type of setup to test bandwidth when users logon, because if they don't users of 56k can get on easily and trick to box to thinking it's using broadband.

I don't think that we will have to worry too much because how many people with 56k do you know that are willing to pay $50 to get the xbox live kit and then odds are not be able to use it
