Monster stuff is really really nice cables. I figured running monster optic to my xbox would give me uber sound with my sony setup(god I love sony and bose home setups).

Ill upgrade my video cables to xbox with monsters when more games start using 1080i.

As for HDTV prices there pretty nice but still high if ya ask me. I could get a 55in for the price of an HDTV. Although 1099.99 is on sale price you save 100 bucks on the samsung and there a great brand. The Dynaflats have alot of nice features. The 4 year warranty is a MUST HAVE. Never have to worry about breakdowns.

The TOUCHSCREEN REMOTE RULES PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!

I cant wait to try the sony soun system. The Complete Sony DTS at my Bestbuy sounded REALLY good and realy nice bass.

HDTV+SOUND=Uber.

Its really a good time to buy HDTVs.

Man I can't believe people are still falling for the Monster cable marketing hype.

I'm not saying the cables are junk, they are fine cables. They are just not worth the price. You're paying for pretty packaging and marketing, not the cable.

You can go here and get the SAME EXACT CABLE for less than $10...it just don't have the pretty stickers on the end.

Then why did you use Monster? Monster is FAR from the best. They might be the most expensive thing at Best Buy, but that does not make them any better than a cable costing 1/3 as much.

If you truly want the best, go to a real audio/video store and shop around for some AudioQuest, Cardas, MIT, Tributaries, Straight Wire, or Kimber Kable. Any of these will put Monster to shame, and some even cost LESS!

65inch would take up 95% of my room!!!!!!!!! Thats HUGE MAN!!!

Serious the 32 will fit but a 36+ might not fit in my room as this is a game room and bedroom LOL! We got alot of stuff taking up space already. Another thing is the only bigscreen that looks worth getting is the LCD and not the CRTs. Those sucks are MADCASH. I think one of the LCD 55in was like 3999.00.

Now on monster cables I have used them in the past for my home stero and love them. I really never buy store cables because I have never had cables as clean as them. Most cables are crude. I was using my card at BB so I figured it wouldnt hurt to throw in 1 39.99 optic cable =)

I got my Kimber cables for free along with a 30 minute UPS and a Line Conditioner and line stablizer, so I have no Buzz in my speakers and everything is crisp

I hate it when people talk tech and don't explain so heres some definitions as best to my ability because I don't know everything,

UPS stands for Uninterupted Power supply Basically a Big Battery that kicks in when the power goes off, so none of my electronics just shut off , a condtioner and line stabilzer basically just keeps the electric current stable no jumps or spikes and makes your sound crisper and your Cable signal clearer,

Nice setup, and you picked a great TV.

I've had my 47" Samsung WS HDTV for about 6 months, and love it.

Target has the HDTV packs on clearance for some reason. They're only $13 right now. They also have memory cards on clearance too. Just thought you'd like to know...

I just want to say you got some really nice stuff, puts what I got to shame.

But for the Sony Sound sys I think there are better ones to get.

Go to Circuit City (www.circuitcity.com) and go to home audio then home theators. Click sort by rating, Look at like the second one down, Onkyo Home Theater System Brand/Model: ONK HTS650, it is $549. Even though it doesn't have the DVD player included, I still think Onkyo is better than Sony when it comes to recievers and speakers. Just my opinion though, I still like what you got, but if it was up to me I would of went with the Onkyo.

Peace

:)
