**I originally posted this at the GamePro.com forums...hopefully, this news will spread like a wildfire :P**

According to the official American website of the company, Star Fox Adventures (and everything else) has been erased off of the website.
Another error? I don't think so.

Also, all the Rare sites are reporting that Microsoft will buyout Rare:

-----

One respected source, who wishes to remain anonymous, has confirmed to Raretopia that Rare is indeed to be bought by Microsoft and estimated the value of the company to be around E250 million. Allegedly, the deal has already been signed and the only thing that could stop it is if Nintendo takes up its option to buy Rare at the offered price instead of Microsoft. However, this seems very unlikely as it could have bought Rare years ago for a lower price but declined. Moreover, we were informed that a full buy-out of Rare will take place, meaning that all of its shares are to be sold to Microsoft.

Say bye-bye to Rare, all you GameCube fanboys. :)

I just went to http://www.rareware.com and Star Fox Adventure is plastered all over the site on their main page, news section, and current games list.

I don't know why you say it was pulled from their website. oh well

would be retarded if they took down starfox....would ya bust your balls making a game for several years and after its done not promote it?? especially when its star fox a big title on nintendo...they would be stupid to ignore it after its done......they might as well promote it and have it be the last game on nintendo but im sure rare wouldnt leave on bad terms with nintendo....and remember...MS and nintendo are atleast working together.....MS is making GBA games if anything MS would let rare promote starfox since MS doesnt have any hard feelings about nintendo i dont think....there really going after sony

if Microsoft really bought rare, then why would they leave the website rareware.com like it is? If they owned it, they could just change it.
