Halo Multiplayer

I am planning on having a buddy over to play Multiplayer Halo for the first time. We have both been playing single player on our own system's and have completed many of the levels. Can he save his profile onto a memory card and bring it over to my house to load up on my system? We'd like to continue the game without having to go back to the beginning level. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think so but I may be wrong.

From my experience, everytime you load up a coop game you start from the beginning of the level that you choose, no matter how far you may have gotten on your own previously.
