Geez, weren't these people kids at some point?

If so they'd know that kids will find anything that will keep them from studing most of the time (not all kids I know, but most).

Video games are nothing more than a somewhat newer way for kids to not study. If it isn't games it'd be something else.

I completely agree carl. Games aren't the reason, it's the person. It will always be the person. Responsible students know when not to play. I loved this quote from that freshmen girl "We get so competitive because we are all racing to kill each other, and I take it personally when I lose." Obviously she's crossed the threshold of addiction into pure obsession. She's got more problems than just a really bad gaming obsession.

LOL... "I used to have PlayStation 2, but I traded it in for the Xbox," said Devin Wilde

Hmmm, where are the parents? Our game systems or tv didnt turn on for 1 hour after we got home everyday. Mom, kept the powercord for that hour until we were done studying and such. Parents have to step up for the kids less motivated to study.
