Is svideo better than the standard AV

Is S- VIdeo worth buying , or should I stick with the normall cords. If S video is better which cables manufacturer should i get thanks.

yes itis worth the buy because it does boost the image quality especially on bigger tv's but make sure your tv supports it and i don't think that the brand will matter for the cables

I wouldn't go so far as to say that brand doesn't matter. Just like everything else in life, you get what you pay for. However, eventually there is a point of diminishing returns. I will say that the cheapest S-Video cable is probably going to look better than the most expensive composite cable.

Of course, if your TV can handle it you should get the HDTV AV pack because component video is better than S-Video.

Make sure your TV has an s-video connection first! If so then stay away from av conectors.
