Can anyone tell me for sure whether or not mech assault will be 4 players?

Can anyone tell me whether or not Mech Assault will be 4 players? I mean 4 players on 1 console, split screen style? I just checked IGN and they had a "hands on" article and they said it was up to 4 players, but I haven't seen any 4 player split screen screen shots.. someone help! P.s. my old man is looking forward to this game as much as I am lol

It's 1-8 player game (4 per XBox)
So to get the 8-player game you have to Lan it or logon XBL!!
