xbox live is all ready to go,but!

i can't sign up! tells me to try later.
and! i'm useing a ethernet hub,and when i tried to get online my mouse wouldn't work! so i did all kinds of things to get the mouse to work and then DSL wouldn't work so i did all kinds of things blah blah blah!
everything is fine right now.

i haven't gone on xbox,tho!
so now i have to see if that works still after an hour of hell and no isp's i turned it off and went out,when i came back i was ready to call 1 800 4 myxbox then i turned xbox back on and it was all set up with the ips and stuff.
am i gonna have to go through all this again (i mean the dsl and getting on website and mouse thing)?
i got everything workking now but i can't signup.
did i do something wrong?
help me out,please!

through the xbox live kit,i can't make an account cuz' it says try later.
i'll try again in a bit and again tonight and see.

How can you register thru the kit if it dosent go on sale until November 15th?

i have a betakit,i was picked not to long ago.
anyway,it works somewhat,played two games of motogp!
still have problems getting online and it detecting a network or something,anyone can help? is it the hub thing?

Ok look man. If your having problems, it is either your network or some firewall stopping it once in a while. Whatever is going on I don't know. What you need to do is call Microsoft XBOX LIVE support which is the # for XBOX and ask why its dropping. I know that you gotta call a few times so u get someone who knows what they are talking bout. If it drops a lot, than you need to fix it. But since you got GP on, you might not be too bad off :)

it's both the computer and xbl,after playing xbl i have to unplug the dsl modem for 20 sec and restart then i can get online same thing with xbl after being online i have to unplug the dsl modem for 20sec and resart then i can get on xbl.
once i'm online or on live i have no problems.

i bought a router today and everything works perfect now.

cool... after i read it, i figured that a router would fix you up since you said you were using both the pc and xbox on a single hookup (no router)... congrats on getting selected to the beta!

i never talk since i have a prob with swearing like no one else lives in this world,so i figure it's better for me to not use the mic then use it and get banned or whatever they do.
