Just a quick question. Because Microsoft will be keeping track of everyone with "gamertags" does that mean that on xblive all the games will only allow one person per box? A friend and I have gotten addicted to xbconnect and playing as a team against other boxes. I'm not sure if xblive will be worth it if I have to play alone, I might just stick to xbconnect because of its lan nature. I've look around for this answer for a while and haven't found it, so I'm starting to wonder if microsoft doesn't want it addressed. Thanks to whomever takes the time to answer.

you can bring your "tag" with you on a memory card.

Thanks Doug,
I think I get it now.
I have Xblive, I can play online, when a friend comes over, they can play with my ONLY if they have a memory card with their info on a memory card AND have paid for the service.
I'm not sure if I like that idea, but it is a logical answer. I'm not sure if that is fair to people who do not have an xbox but want to play at a friends house.
Well anyway hats off to you for the quick response to my post.
I think I will use both xbconnect and xblive in the future.
Thanks again,
Scooter

You can have up to 3 guests play on one xbox, and if you want to use your account while playing on someone elses xbox, I think you can log in if they have an xbox live account.

if u have xbox live..u can have up to 3 friends over playing as guests..
but if ur friend wants to use their gamertag...then they must bring it over on their memory card to load it up on your xbox..

This actually is different for every game. If you try Whacked! you'll find that it doesn't support it  and that only the person with an actual account can play on the box. No guests.
