Well to us with "funny American accents" most Canadians are the ones with the "funncy accents"
The fact is that if you are not used to hearing an accent the it will be funny sounding to you. :D

AHAHahAHhahahHAhAhHAhahHAHhaHAhAHAHhAHAhAHHAhHAhAHAHhAHAHAaaaa
this thread makes me laugh
its amazing what inter-country anger one can release with a simple question...
AND yes, i know that how i talk may sound funny to you (lol) and you sound funny to me, but the truth is, what is a canadian accent?
describe one, please. prove to me that this exists
and dont say "aboot" and such, because that doesnt actually exist. its just made up, its a made up stereotype.
To all the canadians out there, please, come and laugh with me.

actually some good friends of mine are Canucks. and they DO say "aboot". If I had to describe a Canuckian accent, I'd say its kinda "British" but not AS snotty or dry, with a little twist of peppermint and a dash of barely (for texture).
Mostly its strange "slang" and slightly different ways you "northerners" describe things.
...oh yeah! and that damn milk in baggies thing! That STILL gives me the heebies!!

Really? You guys don't have milk in bags? Geez, I learn something
new everyday...
Oh yeah, BTW, folks who say 'aboot' are the 2% of canadians who
are from Newfoundland. Even I don't know what the heck they
are saying...

HAHAHA this is pretty funny... I'm Californian, but on TV everyone sounds the same, yknow over in NY, during the 9/11 interviews and stuff. So, it's natural for me to say I don't have an accent.

Here's a quick Canadian joke:
How was Canada named?
Some guys sat around thinking what to name the new country. They decided to put the letters of the alphabet into a hat, and whatever they pulled out, would be the name. Here is what happened:
guy #1- C, eh?
guy #2- N, eh?
guy #3- d, eh?
HAHAHAHAHAH!! Get it? Canadians will (eh?)

Thanks, that was a fun game. It's nice to play with normal people, and fellow XBAers. (am I the only one on LIVE with XBA in his name lol?!) I'm sure you're itching for a rematch! .....today I picked up a fumble with Gilbert Brown and rumbled 40 yards into the end zone lol!...and last week I recovered an onside kick, 2 feets I never thought I could pull off! ;)
You know it's weird, I've played with a few guys that sound like you (kinda), and you all sound like one of my bosses at work lol! I figured you New Yorkers had accents lol:) That happens over phones/communicators, because as good as it is, it's still not even close to the real quality you would here in person.
