Hey everyone,
Asking this question because somewhere I read the original xbox came with a 10 gig hard drive, and they later lowered it to 8 gigs.
My xbox still has 50000+ blocks but I thought the xbox was partitioned 4 times?
1st partition - for cache to load games quicker
2nd partition - for music
3rd partition - for memory
4th partition - for added levels, charecters, costumes..from xbl.
Well, my basic question is, does anyone know how big 1 block or 1000 block for that matter is?
Halo takes up 1800 blocks on my system and my music takes up 5000 blocks... yet I still have 50000+.
So I can assume 2 things. When Music gets copied, it is than encoded in some very low bitrate WMA file, but high enough for it to sound good. And the other, Halos saves are humongous.
Thanks in advance to anyone that knows who can tell me.
