I like the ideas, but you do realize that it isn't going to be totally lag free right? Cuz there are a bunch of things that do get in the way. Whether it be the cable connection by the user, the servers being over powered, the numerous network hardware that is being used between the user and the servers....or if you drank Mountain Dew or Code Red :D

i know its not going to be lag free but i see lag all the time andpeople tell me i lag all the time when im on there and i have a decent speed 1300 down and 120 up ad the reason i made this thread is because sombody said most people that lag have Cable..

Well, the other night, I pulled 7000 down and my upload was 800 up....and still managed to get a lag moment in 2k3. Cable is a little more sketchy due to it having more of push on the load due to users, while DSL doesn't. It could just be your cable company's equipment, being that you live in WI, they might not have spent as much $$ as the other companies on keeping up their structure of equipment. If you get bad speeds, which yours aren't too bad, call you ISP and see if there is anything that they can do. My ISP even gave me tweaks, but only for the PC, not for the cable modem. A router could be used to replace the cable modem if the modem has a speed cap on it.
