Hey when you get the beta kit you pay the cash and they send it to you.... isnt it that when the real Xbox Live comes out that they send you that?

You pay via credit/check card and its sent to you.
Then when signing up you enter a credit/check card number for as well.

Every beta tester will get the final version of the Xbox Live software mailed to them before the 15th....

Final retail version of LIVE shipped to beta testers today. Beta's will recieve their package somewhere from Thursday to Monday.

My retail is out for delivery on Monday November 11,2002

mine is the 11th too... although if you click the tracking link it tells me it isnt a valid number (or something like that..)

I thought they said in the e-mail that they weren't going to provide any tracking information.

I recieved that email as well. I didnt ry te tracking number though but I doubt it works. I believe all it was ment to do is to let us know it was shipped not for us to be able to track.

yeah i know that they said you wouldnt recieve a tracking number, i only try it because it was there.

Getting mine the 11th, although it looks like there are two other beta testers in my city too. A total of three packages going out from MS (or their distributor) all going to the same city, all the same weight....Cool

i got my final cd on friday i haven't tried installing it yet as it said it won't be activated until the 14th.

No e-mail has been sent to me.... also the guy on support said that the beta will work as a final version....
