Hello, I just bought an Xbox last month and I was wondering if any of you had suggestions on any good "party games" to play on the Xbox. With T-giving coming up the family is interested in playing some video games while sit around the house. I guess by "party games" I mean games that take good advantage of the 4-player capabilities of the Xbox. Thanks in advance!

WHACKED!

Madden 2003 mini-camp.

I still am stunned at how low below the radar WHACKED! was. I LOVE this game. LIVE or single player, the game is a blast. A terribly underated game.....especially if you are LIVE.

One of the most fun games ever.

Fusion Frenzy is great. only 20 bucks now at EB.

Halo as long as there's 8 or more people playing at the same time.

I think FF is actually pretty fun to play with friends...especially for $20...but I guess now with games like MechAssault, UC and Ghost Recon I can kill my friends now...

Well, since you said you'll be playing with the family, I don't think you should listen to most of these suggestions. Depends on how old your kids are I guess. Also depends on if you don't mind if your kids are young and they're playing a game that has gun violence in it. I know Fusion Frenzy is a good party game. Whacked! seems like it's close to the same thing, except for Xbox Live capable. Kung Fu Chaos looks like the same thing also, but it isn't released yet. You could also consider some kind of Arcade type racer. Not really much out there for "family" gaming on the Xbox. Maybe there is and I'm just forgetting some titles, but I don't really take an interest in those types of games. Deathrow is supposed to have a lot of swearing in it, so I don't know if you want to consider that one. It's a futuristic violent sport kind of game. You could always turn up the music volume and turn down the speech volume I guess. But it still looks to portray a lot of violence. But if more mature games are okay, then I would consider any sport games, Halo, MechAssault, Unreal Championship, the afformentioned Deathrow, Dead or Alive 3 (great 2-4 player fighting game).
