Dead or Alive 3: Secrets (May Contain Spoilers)

Just to get things started here, I decided to post up what i have found so far in DOA3:

- To unlock the C3 costume for a character, enter "Sparring Mode", hit start, and choose "Exercise". Perform all of the moves it shows you, and you will recieve a new costume.

- To unlock all the cinemas, beat story mode with each character.


Just to add one more rumor to the pile, look at pg 08 in the instruction manual. Look at the 2nd screen, see the two character select boxes that have question marks in them. Seems like there may be hidden characters in the game......

I heard that if you get first place in Survival mode, (not sure which difficulty) you unlock someone called Ein.

P.S. I can't get a 3rd outfit by exercising for anyone other than Kasumi.

You don't need to get first place to unlock Ein. Whatcha gotta do is beat the game in Story Mode with all characters, then enter survival mode playing as Hayate. After you get killed, it will ask you to enter your name. Enter EIN as the name, and you'll now be able to play as Ein in all modes except Story Mode. Also once you get Ein, you'll notice a space marked ? in the character select, so there is a second hiden character to be unlocked. :)

the only person u can get c3 for in sparring mode is kasumi, to get zacks 3rd costume, get 20 wins in survival mode, to get ein's 3rd costume, beat time attack in less than 6 min. also, the other question mark is not another hidden character, it is just a random select thing

that space marked ? is for a random charactor for now... has anyone found out if there is another unlockable char?

Alas you guys have it all covered besides some extra costume that you can unlock with button presses at the character select screen (I dont remember what to do becuase I didnt really care for the costumes). If one thing about DOA3 dissapoints its the secrects. Only one extra character ... gheez .. you woulda thought they spent all the time on the graphics engine ... oh wait they did.

if you select some characters by pressing X instead of A you sometimes change thier costume, usually the color. With Kasumi you can braid her hair with X and let it loose with Y. With some characters you can only change one of thier costumes, like you can make Brad Wong's second costume red instead of white, but with some you can change both. (Jann Lee)
