Im getting mine today, i cant wait to drive Mecs and destroy everything in site + the graphics are sweet. I heard that the sound is in 5:1, and has alot of heavy bass, perfect for my jbl sub.

It'll be playable now...that's what they did with NFL 2k3 before they announced that it was online.
I just got mine along with the free shirt and figurine.

Did you order from EB games van? If so, they gipped me... sort of... just out of one day. They changed the release date last night and now it says it ships today... however, mine still has yet to go out and I know for a fact it wont get here today. The *******s!!!

Weird... I preorded about a month ago too... and there are EB Games all over here! I don't know whats up... oh well, I'll just have to wait till tomorrow to get fragged by yall!

I ended up passing on Mechassault and picked up Ghost Recon..in fact, I just got home and haven't even put it in my XBox yet! :D

Ok I was playing MA Game Mode Grinder I kill a Atles(#5 fight) and then a new mech came it had Energy Shields, what the mech is it?

Believe it or not, I actually did go back and get Mechassault...this game is sweet!!!!!!! I returned Ghost Recon...seriously.

Mech supports 8 players MAX
Not sure if u can do 4 people on 1 xbox then find another game with only 4 people!
or only 2 on each but it supports 8 total

Got MA today, and I know on a single xbox, not online, you can only have 2 people per TV, so I would assume that online you can only have 2 people per xbox. It would be too hectic with 4 people on one screen anyway.

Awesome! This game rocks! I got it today at Funcoland and when I finally got home from work I popped it in, got online, and had a ton of fun on Live. Super smooth w/ 8 people and yes, only 2 per box. So far, there isn't any extra content to download. See ya online soon guys!

If it doesn't let you, then that means you probably can't. I haven't tried yet though, so I'm not sure.
And MechAssault is brilliant. I can't wait to play it Live. My God it rules in one player though.

Before i got live, i played Mechassualt on gamespy, its not bad, pretty close to what it feels like to play on live.
