I want to know about DSL and CABLE

Does any of you knows a telephone number of DSL or Cable?

Is DSL or Cable is free for a first month?

WHats better DSL or Cable?

3. DSL runs by it self no slow time, Cable shares stuff with other people, may cause slowtime... dunno

Ok dsl is an independent line and there are three speeds to choose from the fastest more expensive per month, cable does share it's line with everyone in the neighborhood, more people= slow downs. leo i'm on staten Island, ten minuets from you and i use road runner and i believe they are also located in brooklyn. call 1800-ok-cable. hurry!! so i could put you out of your misery...j/k ;)

actually its the opposite. You will more than likely have faster speeds with cable rather than dsl.

Generally cable can be faster than DSL, but DSL has more consistant speeds.

Obviously this is different for every area...

and Leo....not everyone lives where you are....

Just be aware that DSLspeed is greatly affected by distance. If your house is far from the central, your speed wil suck. I would have to say that you are safer with cable. If you do happen to choose DSL, fund out in advance how far your house is from the central, if not you may be greatly dissapointed.
