Wondering about the mod chip. Where can I find one and about how much will it cost. Does it play all games. Can someone tell me about the chip.

You don't need a mod chip to play all the games. When they make the Xbox games, playability on an Xbox console is one of the main requirements :rolleyes:

no ive never used them.

if i were you i wouldn't get a modchip because if you get one you can't play on xbox live because it detects modchips

Apparently you can deactivate a modchip and then xboxlive wont detect it. However, this emans you cannot play burnt live games over xbox live.

i dont think gettin a mod chip is a good idea, u can really mess up ur xbox if u dont kno wat ur doin, ur better off without it

thats why you would get some that DOES know what they are doing to install it. duh!

You will also pay a mint to get it installed by a pro. In my city, the mod chip with installation is 300.00$.

would take most people 1 year to buy that many games.

with the mod just copy games to the harddisk
