I really like the gameplay in this one, except that you cannot control each individual soldier. There seems to be a large amount of re-play value, so the $50 was well spent. The only major problem I have with it is the graphics. The charectar models are nice, along with the animations.....but the environments (which are a little too blocky-especially for the xbox) and their textures need more work. Ubi-Soft did a great job on Splinter Cell in this arena, but where were they for this one?

Anyway, I was wondering if I should stick with this one, or return it for Conflict : Desert Storm (although it got a lower percentage on Game Rankings) or wait for Counter-Strike or some other up-coming squad based action...or is there something out right now that I forgot to consider...

One other thing, is that I do not have XBL (maybe in a couple of months) so on-line play is not a big issue (just yet).

 Yes, but say you want to go check something else on your own (if you are a sniper, for instance...)...You start moving towards an area and the other one, or two guys with you follow along. I am saying it would be better if they would stay put. I have even put a "HOLD" order on my squad and they still follow me....wtf? Or is there something that I am missing? enlighten me:confused:

I think the terain looks fine not too blocky, and the textures seem fine to me also. . . . Im also not heavy into graphics, maybe thats why. Gameplay makes a game, graphics are just there to make it look good. . .

and about controlling 1 guy . . . i agree you should have individual controlls for each team member not he whole team. . . . . try setting up Alpha squad with the standard 3 guys and the bravo squad with only 1 guy.

I spend most of my time on Ghost Recon... It's pretty fun on XBOX Live. Nothing is better than teaming up and going into a battle with other players. I think it is definitely one of the best games that supports XBOX Live.
