First off, let me start by saying sorry if this has been posted before. I searched, but I didn't find anything.
I'm planning on getting Xbox Live this weekend along with Mech, GR, and UC, but I have a few questions.
Is there anyway to play on Xbox Live with two people on the same box?
If I buy two live kits and use them on the same box could we played split screen on Xbox Live ?
Thanks for all your help fellas.

I haven't tried it on MA or UC yet, but I can tell you this. You can't have a guest account on GR, due to the lack of headset and how bad it would be to find people in split screen. I know in the Sega games you can have guests play, since it's all on one screen. You can also have guests in MotoGP, but not in Whacked.
The rest of ya are gonna have to help him on MA and UC, as I haven't tried it yet.

So even if I buy two kits, I can't play on one Xbox?

you can play with two accounts on one xbox..but if u have a friend ovver that doesnt play or have a account he can be counted as a guest..i believe right on sum games u can have up to 4 guests...so even if ur friends suck they wont hurt ur record taking turns...

MA you can have 1 guest at a time.
UC you can have up to 3 guests.
And no, you don't have to guy another kit. Your guests will show up as "LaxephGuest1", "LaxephGuest2", etc.

I have two starter kits on my xbox, and what i found out that in mechassualt you can do split-screen and use two communicators, but for Ghost recon thats another story, i dont know yet if you can do split-screen or use two communicators. UC i played in split-screen, but i couldnt talk with two only one communicator?
Thats all i know right now, if i find out anything more ill tell you.

you don't need the starter kit to get an account. heck, all you need is an xbl compatible game to get online. If you select play live or whatever it will prompt you to download all the stuff. Well, anyways whenever I go to get on my account it says New Account and Elmo... just select new account and sign up for one:)

Have you tried that...and why would you if you don't have a headset. I would imagine that option is for an Account Recovery. I doubt that they would just "let your download all the stuff" because the info must pretty big, or for security reasons.

And why do you have to enter that big long subscription code when you sign up?

Hey Plewis... that doesn't work... when you click on "new account" it tells you that you need a subscription code... and even if they were to allow you to set up a new account that way.. they would still bill your credit card for it... I bought a second kit because many here play and one account just did not seem to be enough.

That's what I was forgetting....the subscription code :o
But us beta testers didn't have to worry about that, ya know? ;)

I know.... but can a beta tester set up a new account without a subscription code?... now or back then?
New account allows you to create a new account. But like Squidpie said, you need a valid subscription code, a.k.a another 50 bucks.
Slow *******s.....

Nah, the disks don't work anymore :( But like JJaX said, you need the sub code...we needed it then, but it wasn't under anything that you had to scratch off...ya know how many people I've talked to that couldn't find the code
