I really want to get into this game, but I have no friggin' idea what to do.

I've read the manual (which is pure garbage since it devotes 1 small paragraph to LIVE play), and it explains NOTHING of importance. Hell, it took me 2 hours of hollering to people before I found out that you gotta press the white button to speak.

Ok, now I've read the manual. That didn't help. I've gone through the training missions (twice).

I need someone to hold my hand for a few games.

Would any of you be so kind as to go online with me and walk me through the ins and outs of this fargin game so that I can play for more than 3 minutes w/o getting killed?

I'ts to the point where I don't even wanna play this game because I know that whatever team I'm on will end up losing because of me and my not knowing what the hell I'm doing.

Who wants to help a brudduh out?

Either way..If I had free time tonight I would, but I've gotta work on this other stuff before I can spend much more time on Live. In the meantime (till someone offers their services), check out my responses to Ninja in this Q&A Session (http://www.xboxaddict.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27663&pagenumber=2).

Hopefully that will help you out somewhat.:)

I should be on around 8 EST as well. We might want to start out with a co-op game at first. A bunch of us did that the first night, and it was a great way for us to learn the game together.

EXACTLY...that's the way that we ALL learned the game...and dam, look at us now.

Btw, VAN, do me a favor, if we help, I have 2 favs to ask...get the IMG tags to work in XBL areas over here...cuz they don't...and also, can we PLEASE get a separate forum for Clans and Leagues please...our NFL 2k3 and NHL 2k3 league threads are just too dam much....thanks dude :)

Actually I learned by the process of obeying the laws of physics. It wasn't possible for me to talk as much trash as I did to DZ and Casper and still suck, so by default I became good at this game.

Seriously though.. it's just a matter of playing the game really. It'll be frustrating if you aren't having fun even when you are losing. The only way I was able to play so many games while I was still learning (and sucking) to get as good as I am now is that I was with such a fun group! Hang out with any of us from the Dirty Dozen and we'll not only help you out.. but we'll keep it fun while you are learning the little tricks of the trade. (Like how to use grenades properly, which alot of these cats still don't know :D)

Lynx, when you gonna be on? I'll try and be on sometime tonight between 7 and 8 maybe (for a break). Hopefully we'll be able to give you all some pointers.

Thanks Rudedog, unfortunately I won't be on tonight unless it is very late. I have improv practice. I might be able to get an hour in from 5:30 to 6:30 MST. Otherwise it will be after 10:30 MST.

*Thank you for pressing five! Though you suck too much to be part of the dirty dozen there are many other clans that you may join since you have no real friends. Some off the top of our heads are The Sloppy Seconds, Three Steps from Death if that is too advanced for you, there is a beginner's clan called Ninja's Disciples. If joining the latter clam be warned that you will most likely never win and that your leader will pretty much be incomprehendable on the battlefield thus leaving you all as target practice. Now please hang us and you are tying up our elite phone lines that you are not even qualified to use.*

Van you can hit us up for gaming.. we all jumped in with this one with both feet but would love to game with ya and show some stuff we have all learned and the great times we've had..

OHH I SEE HOW IT IS rag on the Sniper who cant throw grenades.. I'll remember that ... lol

I still do well though I gove a handicap of at least two.. I always hold my own even when respawning three times in fornt of someone after nading myself twice..
