Quickie Halo tip

If ya ever find yourself low on ammo and can't find any lying around, give your human marine comrades a pistol whippin' or a butt to the head with your assault rifle. When they go down, they'll often drop ammo and/or weapons.

You could shoot them also, but if ya kill too many on purpose, they'll take you out.

lmao... yea. i found that i always run out of ammo fast. but shooting teammates is bad!

here is another tip: earlier in the game, try and master your jeep skills because you're going to need them later on...

and another tip: if you see a shotgun, pick it up and use it. it always comes in handy... except outside. shotgun = best indoors.

yeah, skills with the Ghosts and Warthogs are important.

oh yeah and those turrent thingys that shoot out purple lasers are really helpfull right before you reach the halo.

Well, that's all fine and dandy, but my wife just discovered that if you do that, and you shoot the black guy, (The Sergeant), they do one of 2 things.
The Marines stop following you and they go away, or (during a later game) they all freak and starting whipping on you.

We where on the level Truth and Reconcilliation. My wife was running low on ammo and advised me for a plan. We where currently staking out a hangar. I'm in the lead scoping, she's covering and a group of Marines where in the back. I told her to go back and whack a Marine and get his ammo.
Well, she turns around and point blank shoots the Sarg.
All of a sudden, I hear this commotion and I start taking fire from the rear.
I said "What did you do?"
She said "I killed one."
"Who?"
"I think it was that black guy."
"Why!?"
"He was in the front!"
"He was the closest."
We had to evacuate really quick into the hangar where the Covenant where happy to see us. The Coves greeted us with open plasma weapons. And the Marines ran in still shooting at us. "Chief's gone crazy" they say. A three way battle ensues.

That was a tough level. I lived, and guess what? There was plenty of ammo to go around afterwards. Pretty much had to pistol whip the last of them. Including my wife, she got in the way.

Kill the Marines if you want, just be aware that they will flip if you do it a certain way.

Daaaaaaamn, some people have been waiting for Halo 2 since 2001. :yikes: Good Tip: In multiplayer or against Elites, grab a shotgun/pistol and a plasma pistol. Fully charged plasma pistol completely eliminates shields no matter what, and we all know what the shotgun/regular pistol does if your shields go down.... :D
