Problems With System Clock

It seems that everytime I turn on my system, the internal clock needs to be set. Has anyone else had this problem, or am i screwed?

i had that happen after i unplugged it for the first time... no problems since though.

Is your XBox plugged into the power outlet on your receiver (or some other switched outlet)?

That would do it.

It happend to my when i took the plug out of the socket, but after that i kept it in and it didn't happen again. if you take to plug out for a long period of time it will reset

the internal batt probably hasnt charged yet. plug it into a wall and let it sit. Look at your options as you go through make sure you are choosing everything you want.

i thought there was no internal battery...read the manual.

Hey man, are you unplugging your XBOX when its not in use? if you are, that is the reason. The manual says that as long as it is connected to power source, you will not have to reset it. If you are plugging it into a power strip, and turning the strip off each time, this is the same thing as "unplugging" it.

that could be the case i didnt read mine yet. All I know is that I have unplugged it and pluged it back in and only had to set the time the first time I pluged it in.
