I was playing a game of NBA 2K3, and I pretty much clinched the game late with some free throws, and their was a divergence. Then, I played a game of NFL 2K3, and I was winning like 24-0 in the 3rd, and I had just intercepted a pass, and their was a divergence. I find it kind of odd that their was a divergence when I was cruising to wins. Are they causing the divergence to keep from losing?

Also, sometimes it says "Searching for Remote" in the middle of the game with a countdown timer. If it goes to 0 in NFL 2K3, I get a win. If it goes to 0 in NBA 2k3, my record is unneffected. Can you QUit in NBA 2K3 and get an unnaffected record?

the EXACT same thing just happened to me.. .thats odd...

i dont think they can cause a divergance, if they were to drop, it would count as a drop for then. When it said there was a divergance for me, it said my record would be unaffected.

In NBA you will still get the win even though it says your record will be unaffected. It's happened to me before and I was given the win. This is assuming the other guy quit. It you quit you will still get the loss and drop.

I prefer NFL2K3 over Fever.
But every time that I have tried to play I get the divergence message.
A couple of people have said that it has to do with me having the 5.1 sound kicking.

Is this true?

I don't want to have to change my sound settings everytime I go to play a game.
