i was a beta teaster,so i don't know about anyone who just bought it.

I didnt get billed anything at all. And I was a beta tester too since early september. 21.95??? Dunno what that could be.

Hmm... it's my understanding that 50 dollars gets you the whole year. I beta tested and haven't, and better not be charged for anything. At least until next november.

I was a beta tester. I received an email at the end of the beta stating that my subscription would be up in Dec 2003.

Something tell's me that amount you got charged was not for Live.

It sounds more like a magazine subscription price.

A magazine subscription or an Internet Service monthly fee. I'd look into that 21.95 fee and be sure no one else is using your card.

What's up fellow Illinois citizen? Yeah, that price is whacko! I didn't get anything like this and I beta tested XBL... Weird man. Check into it because it isn't XBL! If it is, contact Microsoft. They will take care of you!

A friend got charged $21.95 and allit said was Xbox by it. Come to fins out it was his renewal for OXM. Sure you didn't do that?

it was a stupid msn internet service that i had before dsl and they just charged me for the first time in 3 months! it was canceled when i got my dsl,3 months ago.
everything is cool now, i don't have to pay for it. :)


i now will go and stick my head in the sand.

lol, those credit card statements can be tricky, especially when the descriptions are bad, so you have no idea what it actually is.


well im glad to hear you got that sorted out though dude. (more so since you won't need to pay it ;) )

I hate using CC's. Everytime I do I have to write down what I used it for, just so I know what I am getting charged for! :mad:
