Well here's the scene...went to work late by accident, so naturally, i get home later than i usually do. A friend of mine was playing basketball in the meantime, so he came by my house and i wasnt home yet. So he didnt want to wait, so he headed up to the mall before it closed and picked up Ghost Recon...i really didnt care if i went or not cause i dont have money to spend on myself right now anyway...
So he comes back to my house and im home, playing the Splinter Cell demo again (i could run thru that with my eyes closed now). So we put in Ghost Recon and he runs thru the training mode and ten we decide to play some multiplayer just to see what its like. Well while i was getting the hang of the controls, figuring out what buttons did what, he told me to stand on the road and wait there (farmhouse map or something). So i did and i got the hang of the controls...but little did I know that he figured out how the threat indicator worked and killed me 5 times in a row and the match was over. Then of course he told me how it worked.
So now that we know how the thingey works, and the controls and all that, we head to the mission where you have to capture papashvilli or some dude like that. I dont know what was going on, i was being shot at and didnt even see the dude that was shooting me...then i found a couple of dudes behind trees, but by then, my friend and his 2 teammates were dead, so he quit the game and went home cause it was getting late.
But anyway, from what i did get to play i liked alot. I heard people saying the game freezes alot...not for me. There was a bit of slowdown while picking who you want to be, but thats no big deal. Maximus was talking about missing a shot when aimed at the guys head...didnt happen to me, not once. I think its a great game and i hope to be getting it for xmas, and xbl will come shortly afterwards...:cool:
