Da Dirty Dozen Shows OTL Whats Up!

[Kraft]

That's right ladies and gentlemen: Chalk one up for the boys at XBA because we took the TXB spawned OTL in a best out of 3 games match. Here's a brief rundown of each of the games that took place:

MOTO GP:

We all figured we were screwed in this one. Not only did we have very few players with much moto experience, but also some of their players helped with the development of the game and are listed in the friggin credits! Of course luck swung our way... well, not luck really. It was just the blatant tardiness of all of their players. The match was supposed to start at seven. A few people trickled in and after 50 minutes we told them we weren't going to wait any longer. Their team was still strong for being a last minute roundup of OTL members. Scary Bear placed first a couple of times then Kingpin came in and scored first in the 3rd race. Of course JJax continually gave the pressure and scored us those 2nd place points and a decent team including me, skoalmint and a few others secured most the other places, which made up for not having first. When the dust settled the DD was on top 169-167.

MECH ASSAULT:

They obviously play this game waaaay more than we do. That isn't hard though, because none of us play it at all. They tore the crap out of us, and even beat us even though we had a one man advantage one round due to a drop. This is obviously OTL territory, and as far as I'm concerned, they can have it. I am actually sad that I spent the money to rent this game. I could have had a friggin frisco burger at hardees instead and gotten way more enjoyment out of it. Finally score: OTL swept a best 2 out of 3

GHOST RECON:

We all knew OTL was going down and going down hard here. They though they had a glimmer of hope but it died after the Dirty Dozen won in a best out of five showdown with a score of 3-1. Unfortunately I had some last minute crap come up so I couldn't be here for this one, hopefully someone can fill in the details and give any necessary props where they are needed.


After it was all said and done we won overall, though on the account of luck due to the MotoGP fiasco. But hey, thats where the cards fall, and maybe that will teach them to stick with the time that they agree upon. Extra praise to JJax for being a prime competitor in all three games. What the hell ever possessed you to buy MA, I will never know. You need to trade that crap in and get a real game. Also, thanks to the guys over at OTL as it was fun to get some matches in against others!

GR against the TeamXBOX OTL was without a doubt a blast. Xsoul and Revitxman, you both are prime players, and I definetly look forward to some rematches down the road. Kraft, as you said, JJax was a prime player in all three. Though since you need some fill in for GR, all of us provided an ass whooping, with only DZ pulling out a goose-egg one game.:eek: Though, one (i think) did that every game.

We played the river as the final battle with the docks, the castle and the train wreck. The docks was the only one that we lost on, which was a surprise since we had at least two members saying that that was their stage. I guess it just wasn't that night.:confused:

I didn't participate in Moto, but yeah, we definetly got our butts handed to us in MA.

By the way Kraft, what happened to the front page coverage for this one?:confused:

I think we could have won that MA match if I had been in IMO. Ya props to JJaX. I can see that we may NEVER be beat in GR. :eek: Ready up any who wish to take the great DD.;)

Yeah thanks for the props people! But like someone said to me in the middle of a match, it's a team game.

Some side notes:

- Moto Gp was real dirty, Scary bear couldint take the fact that I was passing him so he wiped us both out. And 2 turns later he wiped me out.
- Kingpin used a custom bike. The third race, noone was catching him.
- And it was sour from the get go. I was running the server and when I saw scary bear enter, so I quit the race to greet him. He gave me the silent treatment. Props to grendal and the peeps we played GR with for being civil

I can host 4v4, did it last night w/no trouble, CTF best of 3 or 5 trade picking the maps and I or someone sets it up at the start in the server.


***when I host I take the lightning gun out and or turn off auto aim, so no lil girls use that those cheap tricks. Not sayen this is how it has to be just getten you all thinken of possible ideas for game style and changes.

We will most likely have to swap ppl too, so ya that is a must, just not sure how it will be done. If its public that will be hard with no kick function and if its private there is little time b/w games. I opt for a new server for every game with maps, teams, ect pick prior. Exp....

Let me know when a UC battle starts up. I can care less if you dudes like UC or not...I love the game and enjoy kicking some major ass with it. As of this week, I'm ranked 30 on Double Domination...considering there are 1000s of people on there, 30 is not too shabby ;)

If you guys are still getting into an UC match I'm interested, I'm tired of beating people at TXB (we had a "tournament" last night where I beat everybody by 20+ kills... lmao) and tired of hearing Grendel talk trash while using AA + LG. I got banned from OTL just because I pointed out that AA is complete crap and takes skill out of the game, go figure. So yeah, I'm interested in playing UC. btw my Deathmatch ranking is around 300-400 or so and I have over 110,000 kills in total w/ 70% efficiency.

After reading all of their whining, I was about to post something similar. I can guarantee that IF we would have lost to these guys, we would have taken it like men. From everything I have seen, we gave them props on the MA loss and never whined about it. Grendel is over there making excuses about not playing GR because it just isn't his game. Obviously, MotoGP is not my game, or Kraft's game, or Casper's game, but the three of us still sacked up and gave it our best. Even though we had to wait for almost an hour for them to show up for a match that had been scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Grendel even offered to forfeit the match to us, but we said no because we didn't want to win that way. They are griping about JJaX booting Kingpin in MotoGP. At first, we didn't know who he was, so JJaX was booting him and anyone else that came into the room to save bandwidth and not mess up the scoring. After we found out who he was, JJaX let him stay and race. After the GR match, we didn't talk s4it in the room, we gave them props for a well-played match. I don't recall anyone complaining about the threat indicator or spawn camping. They did ask to turn off the threat indicator, but Casper explained to them that the agreement he made with Grendel was that it would be on. As anybody knows, the only thing the threat indicator really helps is with keeping the games shorter. Then there is all of this nonsense with editing posts and banning people. It is one thing for a mod to edit a person's posts by taking out the offensive text and putting in a message that the offensive text was removed by the mod. However, it is just childish to edit the post in an insulting manner.

Sorry this is so long, but I just wanted to say that I agree that we should probably look for some other clans to play. If these guys can't handle getting beat, I can't imagine what they would be like if they actually won.

no retard. when i use the lightning gun i only get headshots when i am aiming real good. i hardly ever get more then two or three a game. and i stick to the shock rifle cause i think that it leaves a level laying field.

Primarily for UC, cuz me and Koopa can't join the same GR or MA games. But if we get more than 4 people in our clan. Then we can have alternates.

We had a working name, EHC. It didn't work out too well, so we're coming up with a new one. But there is no game where TheCovenant and I can't win when we're on the same team. That is why we might be co-leaders.
