If you have the xbox dvd kit, can you tell me if it plays vcd's?? i know the xbox plays cd-rw cd's but if u burnt vcd's to a vd-rw does it work??

no. you can only play vcds if u have a modchip

Hey have u guys ever tried the xbox region X software??? Maybe that lets u play VCD's.

no it dosn't it only allows you to play dvd's from any region. Like snoopy said you need a modchip to play vcd/svcds/divx/mp3 etc.
