Pretty cool idea. though doesn't TechTV or someone already do a video games award thing? Anyways, it's a step in the right direction, now all they need to do is televise segments at e3 and the world would be a happy place.

TNN is a great channel. They got "Movies for Guys who like movies", constantly running Star Trek marathons, and some of the best selection of movies aired that i've seen.
Sounds like a cool idea. I'll have to make sure that I remember to set my computer to record it whenever it happens

Yeah I think that TechTV does do some kind of award show, but its not very in-depth. I'd rather have this big award show on TNN where I know it'll be big.
Plus it says they plan on doing this award show Fourth Quarter 2003. Can anyone say "Unprecidented XBL Success" and "Halo 2?"

video game awards show (http://digitalmass.boston.com/news/2002/12/19/video_tv.html)
Tech TV has the show called Extended Play....however, they will soon be renaming it to 'The PS2 Praise Show'. I've never seen a more biased show in all my life. They think the only console that exists is PS2.

I dont understand this bitter attitude throughout the industry towards Xbox. The things the mainstream choose are paid off corporate, untrue, incomplete, and are always one sided.

i cant stand the host of extended play....he's annoying, thinks he knows everything about video games, and wont accept the fact that he's balding

They think the only console that exists is PS2. I knew someone who wanted to sell his Xbox just because Extended Play is all Playstation 2. He told me that he has to have a Playstation 2 because Extended Play keeps saying how great it is.

Real TV is the only reason I had it on TNN. I stopped watching that channel because my friend made fun of it and said something bad about it.

When ur friends jump over a bridge, will u 2?
Just kidding :D
I just wish that they'd decrease the height of that black bar at the bottom of every show. So much wasted precious tv space

No I wouldn't. Actually my friends could not convince me to do anything. Not even ask a girl out.
