ok i was just wondering because i have all the other launch games..is this game worth getting because ive heard its pretty cool and in my area they dont rent this game out so could someone sell me?(meaning tell me about it):D ;)

mechwarrior simpler and more action, funner, more exciting, if u like UC, get it, ur a big robot, you kill stuff, good graphics, a must have

I have all three, and I consider this one to be the best.

1. it's easy to find games.
2. More people play this game, so you make more friends
3. You can't beat having 8 players destroying the living cr*p out of eachother with building falling down, flames in the air, and smoth lagless gameplay
4. D/L content every week starting mid Jan. until sometime feb.
5. See what prof. review sites give this game... it's that good!

This game does the best lag-wise. It is pretty fun if your good at it. An awesome single player.

Single player is decent
Extremely Little to no lag online (best game for the lag free department)
Tons of Mechs (literally...)
Fun online with a good group of people.

I suggest getting it. I actually enjoyed UC, GR and MA. The sports games weren't as good as any of these in my eyes. Except Ghost Recon doesn't have a very great online experience.
For me the order of live games in a best game on Live to worst list is as follows.

Unreal Championship
Mech Assault
NHL 2k3
NFL Fever 2003
Ghost Recon

Ofcourse I havent played all of the LIVE games yet, I just listed the ones I have.

I rented MechAssault and I enjoyed the game. I didn't like it as much as I thought but it was good. But for some reason, I seem to slightly prefer Gun Metal. Probably because I'm a fan of Transformers. I didn't like Robotech very much though.

I really liked MechAssault when I first bought it, but now I'm finding that I only really play it when I have friends over. Now I'm more into NHL 2k3 and Ghost Recon.

the single player could have like a normal mode where you just fight mechs to make it better, but the game ownz with live
