HELP!!! calling friends

OK this may sound stupid but I don't know how to get people into games, I can do it in Moto GP if there playing the game when I create a game but if I come off and want to invite them into a game like Mech Assault or Ghost Recon whilst there still playing Moto GP how can I do this as I haven't got a clue

I did try this with Mech Assault but all it said 'was press A and reboot' so I pressed A and them it rebooted and went straight to the Dashboard can someone please tell me what I have to do from here or am I doing something wrong?:confused:

you want to invite people, not join?
if you choose to join them it will say reboot, but that means "enter disk for the game you are planning to join"

If you choose to invite them it will say "friend invite sent" or somthing similar.

Yeah I got that when I get an invite to play a game whilst I'm playing Moto GP a symbol comes up and I go to start and accept and I'm there but if I want them to join me in a game and there playing Moto GP or Ghost Recon and I'm playing Mech Assault when I send an invite what I get is put in the disk and press A, now the XBOX reboots and then I get the dashboard, now what the hell is that all about, all I want them to do is to come and play Mech Assault with me

I mean why does it ask me insert disk when the game is already in the disk drive, it doesn't make any sense:confused:

In order to invite a friend into your current game Press Start and enter into the friends list menu. Whilst in the friends list menu select a friend and choose the option to "invite friend to this game" after pressing the corresponding button it will say game invitation sent. Then an arrow with an envelope will appear beside there name. That means that the game invitation has indeed been sent. After that all you can do is wait. They will either accept the game invitation or else delcine. You can also find game invites sent to you in the friends list. To accept a firend invitiation simply highlight the friend who sent you the invitation and select "accept game invitation" it will then bring you tino that game if it is still active. If the game you were invited is a different program then it will prompt you to enter the correct disc. After entering it and loging onto xbox live you will be brought immediately into the game you were invited to.

Right I have no problem with the first part of you post as I can call them in and can take invites from friends if I'm playing the same game let's say Moto GP now if I leave Moto GP and then want to play Mech Assault, all I have to do is send an invite to my friends and just wait for them? Question here though how do I know if they have accepted my invite, will a symbol come up?

Nope, you will have to go into the friends list. It may say "invite accepted" or "invite declined but you may just have to sit and wait.
