Me and a friend have just bought an xbox each and have two tvs. how do i play a link game? i haven't a clue how to set it up and i can't find the instructions for the link cable.

Well, the only thing you will need is a crossover ethernet cable. You can buy these at computer stores for pretty cheap. You could instead get the official xbox connector cable, but it is the same thing and more expensive. Go get the crossover cable, connect your two xboxes then play system link. simple as that.
