Game List (http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filters/subplatform/0,15087,xbox,00.html)

It's fun, IMO, just browsing through the games, and seeing some names you havn't before. Some games that look cool I think are:

Galleon (http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filters/products/0,11114,374075,00.html)

It says the release date was 9/04/02. I don't know, did this game come out?

The Last Ninja (http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filters/products/0,11114,561376,00.html)

That Last Ninja game looks pretty sweet, I'll have to look into that one.

I remember that the last Ninja was suppossed to be rleased this year. Simon & Schuser delayed it til next year though to September. Now Galleon, I've been wondering about. I remember seeing a video of the game on the first OXM DVD and it looked cool. The game seemed a bit like Tomb Raider, but the graphics had a very low polygon count. I guess the game is still on.;)

Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix 4 (http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filters/products/0,11114,561331,00.html)

"The next game in the award-winning Grand Prix series will feature a new 3D engine that supports special effects such as heat waves from car engines and reflections on wet ground."

That sounds pretty cool, actually. :)

Maximum Chase (http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filters/products/0,11114,537003,00.html)

Holy Sh*t!! Maximum Chase looks nice!!

Galleon was suppose to be one of the Xbox launch titles and also a launch title for the Gamecube as well. Before the launch for both consoles, the title was delayed until early 2002.

It then got delayed again to Fall 2002. Now the story is that their 're-evaluating' the game...my ass.

I remember reading about it awhile ago. I'm not even sure if there's any plans to release the game at all, there hasn't been any info on it in a looong time.

Oh Xbox Owner, Grand Prix 4 was canceled for Xbox because the development studio closed down. It was originally suppossed to be released this month. The game Maximum Chase has been out in Japan since September or October. I was hearing from people who played it in Japan that it was a very good game; however, there has been no word from Microsoft whether their going to release the game stateside. I think it would be a good move for Microsoft because the game only sold 5,000 copies in Japan. Xbox needs a game like that and it would probably sell well. They should have brought over that game instead of Nexmix (Sneakers) to the U.S.
