Whats a better TV?

Whats the better TV? I am getting a 32' Normal TV. Not HDTV. But the problem I am having is getting the best picture quality "NORMAL TV" They both cost around $999.00. Which brand is better:

1. RCA
2. Panasonic

RCA sucks...panasonic is ok, but I think after many weeks of research the best for the money is thePhilips 32PT81S (http://www.bestbuy.com/detail.asp?e=11051200&m=1&cat=24&scat=26)

since i don'y know your location....might i suggest you go to a mall or local electronics store and look around while avoiding the sales staff.

Sony Wega and Panasonic Tau both kick ass.

Neither. Get a Toshiba. They have been #1 on Consumer Reports for the last several years...and prior to that, they have always been in the top three. Get a Toshiba if you can't afford a Sony Wega...those are amazing, too :D
