Battlefield 1942 replacement?

I've been checking out some pics for "Breed" which is supposed to come out at some point this year(not sure when). I haven't been able to find out too much about gameplay though. I read somewhere it's supposed to be a mix between Halo and Battlefield 1942. Anyone else know some more about this game?

I hope this is kinda the same concept as Battlefield 1942 with lots of troops, vehicles and big battles. Then EA will see how much money they lost from canceling Battlefield when this becomes a success.

I've been checkin out this game for about a year now and it looks nothing like Battlefield 1492. But, I think this game is gonna kcik @$$.

The only thing that comes close was Medal of Honor Frontline. It makes me mad EA canceled both Allied Assault and Battlefield. I'm hoping they don't continue the thrend on canceling PC games coming to Xbox. If they do, I'm going over to EA's company.

Yes, this game looks like it might give similar gameplay... large battles with lots of vehicles.

They'd better give it Live! support!
