We don't know if we should believe if these are in game models or not, but according to Codemasters, they are.

The cars are insanely detailed, boasting 13,000 polys each, which is up from 800 in the last McRae game. Codemasters has already said that the cars will also feature a more realistic damage engine with opening and detachable panels, doors, tailgates, hoods, bumpers and windows. They are also promising that even McRae and co-driver Nicky Grist will be fully animated and will react with the car. When you shift, Colin shifts, when you brake, Colin brakes.

Just hope that the game play is as realistic as possible,,, I read that Codemasters had decided to use fake courses rather than the real European Rally courses.... I know to most Americans this is of little consequence but to people who are really into the sport let me give you an American Racing equivelent of Nascar Thunder or Heat all played on fictional race tracks... get my point.
13,000 Poly's,,,,, makes me concerned about the speed of the game.... frames per second..... we will just have to wait ans see.

XBox should be able to handle the speed just fine. I would have doubts for the PoS2 or the LameCube, though.

Still no god dammed info about this game on the Xboxaddict site... what the heck is wrong with this site? Do you support the Xbox? Then cover this exciting peice of news.... this could be a software title that saves one more consumer from making a purchasing mistake.
