I found a way to fix the dirty disk error thing that pops up, at least it works for me. I just bought a new game and it was giving me trouble, and the messege would pop up alot, and it was making me mad,( this might sound stupid but it works for me). So I blew into the front of the Xbox were you put in the disk, and it went away, I played it later that day it did it agian I blew in it and the problem went away. Its not a perment fix but it has worked for me alot at least letting me save a game or something. All you do is blow into the front were you put the disk in, if it doesn't work blow a little bit harder and it should work, it shouldn't mess anything up so its worth a try atleast. Just try it and see if it works.

Brings back fond memories of the old Nintendo system when the game would read properly.

It still works a little but just ends up giving me the error a few minutes later(but it is good if you need to save your game or somthing). Anyways, I was wondering if you could still get your xbox fixed for free somwere or do you have to pay. Mine has be giving me trouble, I think it the game but if you can do it for free there is no reason not to try it. If there is please tell me, it would be alot of help.

Depends when you bought it. If it's less than the 90 days, then I think you can send it in. Is it just that one game that gives you problems or all of them?

Its not even close to the 90 day thing, I got mine when the price was around 300 with no games. The wired thing is I bought a game a week ago, and it screws up alot, then the next day I get another game that I ordered online, and it screws up alot, but all of the others play just fine and don't give me problems. My system is working fine it just won't play those two games with out screwing up.
