I just played a game in Hell's Kitchen and now I remember why I haven't played this game in about two months. It's still as bad as it used to be.

But DAMN why does the content take so friggin long to download? Jeez....

Becuase about 50,000 other poeple are trying to donwload the exact same content as you at the exact same time. If you downloaded it when no one else was on and your connection is good it would go really fast.

it took me less than 4 minutes to download the whole update. I got it at 6:30 A.M. :)

Calm down boys. I didn't say that to start a flame war here. I'm just not interested in the game anymore. It was great for the first few weeks, but I guess I'm just spoiled from playing so much Ghost Recon.

Ive got both, and GR is just so difficult for me to play online, its pretty glitchy and stuff. MA gets pretty boring, but I still play it from time to time.

Hook up with the DD on Ghost Recon sometime and you won't have any problems playing. Casper's got a kickass connection.

No offense, dudes...but, the only reason I inserted my Mechassault disc was to check out the new content. While I only had about 10 minutes to play because I had to go to work, I found that it's the same repetitive game on new maps.

Seriously...I just don't find Mechassault to be very interesting...probably because it's lacking tactics. I will admit, Ghost Recon took me a while to appreciate, but, now I'm addicted to the game...it's bad ass! Of course, being one of the DD makes GR an unbelievable experience...especially considering on how well we communicate and take down the enemy strategically.

What does one do on MA? Shoot the hell out of your enemy. Neat.

Well, I have yet to get the download, but if it is as they say and it does not have the CTF portion or the lobby addition, then I'm still not very excited about this game.:rolleyes:

The DD has a right to their opinion, but so does everyone else. Did you guys ever think that maybe not everyone needs to have tactics?? Sometimes its just fun to log on and blow up a few robots to let off some steam.

Both people are right and wrong.

Ghost Recon is a good game and the DD are good. I've gotten my head blown off once two many by them. However when they say that Mech Assault takes no skill they're wrong. If you think it doesn't take skill add me to your list and I'll invite you into a competative game. That said Ghost Recon does have more strategy to it. It's just not my type of game.

Mech Assault does have the annoying lobby drop. I'll admit that but Ghost Recon isn't exactly perfect either. Ghost Recon is harder to get into a game but once you do you're set for a while. Mech Assault is easy to get into a game but it's hard to keep playing.



Anyway you're wrong if you think it takes no skill. I challenge you to play me and my guys if you think it takes no tactics.

The DL took me forever... But I like the raven.. I hate the corvus. I still like the old maps Colleseum (sp) and River City... Add me and we play.. I am a "chicken mech" and Mad Cat user. :D

i didn't like GR all that much, but im sure if i got into it, i would like it.

GR is strategy. UC is coordination and accuracy. MA is...? I dunno.. Id say just to shoot... but it does a good job of that
