View Full Version : Xbox wins an award at the Visual Effects Society awards...sorta

This really doesn't have to do with the Xbox but rather with a commercial for the Xbox.

The Visual Effects Society awards were given out with The Two Towers taking 8 awards for visual fx and other technical fx related awards.

One of the categories happened to be for visual effects in a commercial. Guess who took home the award? The Xbox "Mosquito" ad. It is a shame that it didn't play here in the States.

ive seen that commercial before, i think. but not on tv. i think.

Yeah it never aired in the US. It was part of their "Play More" campaign used in Europe.

Yea, it was/still is on www.ifilms.com and I still don't see why it didn't air here, as long as I still have my fav commercial though, it's all good...the babes fighting in cement :p

:D I thought of the same thing... Whether she is or isnt... Its showing! Maybe thats why it didnt air in the US and why its so popular in Europe or/and wherever else. :D
