This is probably the wrong forum to ask in, but I didn't see it in any other forum here.

I already received the GR patch last week, and if you read the last patch post, you know my feelings on the topic.

Today, I turned on the XBOX and connected to live through the dashboard, and another patch was installed.

I guess it isn't really a GR patch, but has anyone noticed any improvement in play?

People I talked to in other forums didn't even know about the second patch, I told them to connect to live from the dashboard, and they then saw the patch installed.

I have been laying off GR since it locks up all the time, I started playing some new games.

I just tried it and you're right, when I tried to connect through the dashboard, I got the DL. Apparently, the patch has been out since Tuesday or Wednesday, but you only get it by connecting through the dashboard.

There is some speculation over at the Xbox.com boards (http://forums.xbox.com/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=1742599) that it fixed various things to include adding countries for XBL in Europe, increasing the number of packets in the connection screen (I noticed 20/21 as opposed to the usual 8/8), and reducing lag in both GR and UC.

This is weird but I got this on late wed night early thu morn I think it was and I called DZ to ask if he had it and he had gotten it even earlier than me. WACK thing is none of my friends here have got it yet, even though they have logged on??????I just dont know????

I downloaded it yesterday and it seemed pretty good, i didnt see a major deference, but for me there was definitly not alot of lag. Hope it stays like this, or even gets better.

I played a sick game last night with 12 people POW camp, infinite respawns, tons of grenades, OICW, Anti-tank, with no lockup. Normally, that would have been a recipe for disaster.

Could have been a fluke, but I am hoping it was cuz of the second patch.

Lil' Skeez didn't get it either, and he went into the dashboard but nothing was updated...at least that he remembers....when was the last time you went into the dashboard to XBL?

YEah i booted up the dashboard friday(i think) and got an update.

I actually go onto the Xbox Live Dash everytime before I play GR so I know where every1 is and I don't send people invites who aren't in GR. So yeah, in a roundabout way, I guess I'm saying I really hope they fix that in the next update.
