Serious Sam?

Heya all, in the game Serious Sam, do any of you experience constant framerate hits/pauses? Every 5 minutes or so during the game, the game freezes for about a second, and then continues on. It's kinda annoying...is this normal or what?

Hasn't happened to me yet and I played through the game twice.

Turn the background music all the way down. That should stop the freezes. I have the game, it happened a couple of times, and that is what I figured out to do, and it works. I was trying to eliminate unnecessary drive searching <--- however you want to call that, and that seemed to be the best bet.
