Anyone have World Serioes Baseball?

I just got my copy last night and I CAN NOT put it down...I LOVE this game. The franchise mode is awesome. My only complaint is that you cant go LIVE with it.

yeah being that its not live i wont pick it up, but if it was live id hit it,i dont undeerstand why it wasnt,all of segas other ssports games were:confused:

I have it and love it but MVP is alot better. I am so addicted to it. I hate EA but they have really put out a great baseball game. The graphics are great and the gameplay is awesome.:)

These people are crazy for sayin that they are not getting wsb 2k3. I had the game since it was first released and its the best sports game to date IMO. It basically stays in my xbox now. Im playin the Marlins right now (im The cards). We all know that the gameplay is tight as hell as well as the graphics. But have anyone noticed the small details in the game. Like the changing advertising banner at Turner Field in the ATL. Also the ring of honor at Pro Player Stadium. The ring of honor has the actual retired football players names of the miami dolphins and the banner stating the undefeated team of 1972. This game is tight and i dont see how anyone can pass up this one.

How about the traffic crossing the bridge at PNC park in Pittsburgh. A lot of small graphical details are in this game. It is awesome, and it doesnt need Live to make it awesome. Not every game needs to be Live compatable to be a great game.

Absolutely awesome franchise mode in this game. Unfortuantley EA doesnt quite live up to that with MVP. I do like the knew throwing meter they have though. Very ingenious. But 2k3 as an all around solid title is still my choice.

Though I think the designers could've made more of an effort with the post home run and foul ball impacts, I agree the game is damn good. I was hoping you could help me with one small aspect: how the hell do you hit the cutoff man?? I have been looking and looking, but can't find it anywhere.....

I have WSB (the one released last year) But I've heard great things about this game.. Imma check out Inside Pitch first.. even though I'm not really into baseball games much.

You havent figured this out yet? When throwing from the outfield, throw to a specific base, and you can a.) redirect the ball by throwing to another base before it passes the cut-off man, or b.) hold either trigger buttons after you throw the ball from the outfield. and the cut-off man will catch and hold the ball. Veryeasy

the homerun poses..... I hit one with Bonds and he threw the bat like he just murdered the ball....

love the 360 spins, jump throws, throwing from knees on double plays.....and also love how the players charge the ball in the out field and throw it all in one motion

wsb2k3 is the best baseball game out on any system to date. just for the fact of the franchise mode. and who cares if it isn't xbox live just take it for what it is, the best baseball game out

Yea, until the end of May, when Inside Pitch comes out. But I still don't get why Sega didn't stay with the dominance that they had going on XBL :cuss:

i think i read somewhere that microsoft woulnd't let any baseball game go xbox live because they wanted to be the first to go online, which doesn't suprise me considering it is microsoft

yes it is very addictive. but i think they cant go live cuz its hard to make it live? i dunno, its just what i have been thinking
