Ejection from Public Servers

Alright...this has been bugging me the past couple of days since I have been on, when most of my buddies haven't. But it seems to me that some people simply do not understand the meaning of "PUBLIC" servers. :mad:

I have joined several games on the public servers, and quite a few of them, I have found that before I even say, hey, I am ejected for no reason! No, hey, we've got a clan match, or hey, sorry Rudedog we are waiting for others, just...you know what to do...yup...Rudedog has been ejected from the server.:mad:

If you are going to eject someone, first off, don't use a public server. Second, give them some reasoning, or at least give them a chance to drop themselves! Sorry, it's just seriously ****ed me off this weekend! I just had to rant about it.

Welcome to the club, back when me and skoal played online we were ejected cause we killed the **** outa the other player. Its a annoying but i guess we gotta live with it

In this case though, you don't even get a chance to show these guys up! They just see it's someone they don't know so they boot them! I mean, come on, give someone some reasoning at least! It's BS!

Exactly, i guess they dont know the difference between private and public servers.:mad:

I'm with you Rudedog. I've only been ejected once from a server and the guy gave no reason. So I kept logging on about 5 times, until he finally let me stay long enough for me to ask why. He just said that they already had their group they were waiting for. I said that's cool and that's all he had to say to me the first time and I would have moved on to another server.

well, i think there was too many ppl on his servers and he had to boot one. wierd thing is, i was there before 2 ppl came in before it became full. dunno why he ejected me.

Yeah I spent a good amount of time trying to find a decent pub game. It's either:

A) You get ejected for having to much skiilz

B) You just get ejected for no reason

C) The host can't handle 4 people, but insist on hosting 12

I think (A) is more prevelant for the DDC, but (B) still happens a lot for no real reason. It's just stupidity to me, but meh...what can ya do?

I don't mind getting kicked if it's a clan game or there waiting for somebody, but if I'm being kicked because I killed the host a lot, that pis$es me off.

well casper, now that u told me why u ejected me, i feel alot better. so now, i forgive ya ;)

if im in ur game and u are setting a clan match, just boot me off. its no biggie now.:)

i realized that it wouldnt fit out right.

it'll be like unreal championship instagib style ctf. one shot ur dead, and ur teamates around u get kill and u are at the other side of the map, far away from the flag. if GR had sheilds, vehicles, etc, then i think it would be cool. GR just need vheicles, thats all.
