WHy do you want a vga adapter so bad if it will just degrade the quality of the image? I would think if you wanted the bad quality of RCA plugs you might as well get a cheap tv that is s lot bigger than your monitor.

No those are Component RCA connections. You don't degrade anything. Plus you get the ability to run in 480p versus 480i if your tv doesn't support progressive scan.

I'm not hooking it up to a monitor either. It is going to a DLP projector so show me a tv that is cheaper and bigger than my 110" screen. The image quality far excedes that of my regular 27" set.
