Is there any reason for this? I know it has to have sold enough copies...but it's still $50!!!! I've played through it and beat it when I borrowed it and an Xbox awhile back (before I had mine) and I would love to buy it and play through it again but I really dont wanna pay $50 for it.
C'mon, I know it's sold more then ~cough~ Bloodwake ~cough~...

Dude...it's all about supply and demand. Regardless of Halo's $50 price tag, they simply have enough demand for it...why lower it?

cuz MS knows..that even at the original $50 price...they can still sell it and sell it well.

trust me..once the sells of halo1 start really slumping...it'll be marked down.

think of it as gta3.

It is not a platinum hit because they dont feel like selling it for 20 bucks when people are still buying it for 50.

Wow, four posts saying the exact same thing. I would have made it 5 but I think four should get the point across.

You need to be very specific with a question like this one...

Exactly, the game is at high demand, as long as it makes money, why put it down for a lower amount of money? Its a good marketing strategy, and by doing so not only is Halo becoming more popular, but Microsoft is making more money as it is. Plus more gamers on Game Spy! =D

actually stores have been selling gta3 for less now that Vice City is out. but i know what you're saying, GTA3 sold thousands of copies a month at $50 for a long time

I dont ever see Halo dropping in price until Halo 2 comes out. Its definately worthy of a platinum hit though. If Munchs Odyssey or Gotham racing made it then even BLOODWAKE was worthy of it

I think most places are selling it at 40-45 dollars now. Atleast locally anyway.

Nice sig, but that isn't going to goad me into harassing you... Instead I am going to harass you about your crappy TMNT drawing! For the love of god, you aren't spending all of your time with a dictionary obviously, make a better turtle :D

I actually drew that in german class at school,
and into socials...
I didn't realize untill a friend pointed it out that he looked like a ninja turtle,
but if I was going to make it a ninja turtle,
it would actually have the head shaped right!

Ninja turtles heads,
look like a watermelon on it's side,
with a hemisphere centered on it.

I've got #'s 1 and 3,
but for some reason not #2,
that one was the best of the 3

if it sells good why drop the price? just leave it until the next installment comes out cause then you know they will all flock to the 2nd one.
