I have looked everywhere where everything can be found, but I cannot seem to find wether or not PSO is turn based like metal dungeon or like morrowind where you get to attack them by pressing right trigger etc. All i've found is that its a RPG.

It's NOT turn-based at all, more like Morrowind except there is no first-person view option.

Is it true that you have to have XBOX Live to play this game even offline?

for all of you that haven't played the Dreamcast version they are the same a bit of enhancement but not much and it is like morrowinds but you don't get the first person view plus yeah it sux that you have to pay $14.99 or $9.99 depending where you live monthly to play it online which i personally think is a rip off i would rather just keep playing morrowind or any of the other cool rpg we have and the ones coming it is cool but it is too much of a rip off

It's not really a ripoff if you only play the game for 2 months, cause those two months are free! Even beyond that though I don't believe the game is a ripoff considering how insanely addiciting it is :D Many fans of the series aren't really horribly put off by the monthly charge.
