It took me 5 minutes to think of that thread title... call me stupid.

Anyways, PSO was pushed back to the 22nd. Discuss.

Found at http://www.gamestop.com

This contradicts EB's release of 4/15/03. Sorry if this is a repost.

This title has now officially lost all possible hype. When this title was announced I figured it woul end up being the RPG of the year for xbox owners, but now it is probably destined for the bargain bin. Why MS and Sega EVER though it would be a good idea to make it so only people on live can play it, I will never know. This game has an incredibly strong 1 player mode and now if EVERYONE in the world with a live kit buys this they will have only sold 500k copies.

Yea, same thing with me, and one thing that also makes me not want to buy it now is the fact that you have to pay per month whilst the game isn't even an MMORPG. All my friends who have an Xbox wanted this game at first, but then they read about it, and researched it an said, "**** that, I won't even rent it."

there idea is that this game will sell live kits, a terribly wrong assumption. It will not sell live kits (ok, maybe a few), instead, it will turn people away from the game because they dont have broadband and therefore cant do live, and therefore, cant play the game, even for the single player mode.

I still have it on preorder. I am going to milk my 2 month free trial. Yes, you are right. This isn't even a true MMORPG. It probably won't be worth my $8. I will probably end up taking selling it on Ebay...

Meh, even if it's 2 months, I still don't want to have to pay. Not picking this game up. I wonder how many people will play it online.

Yeah, they made a few mistakes with how they made that game. It would have been nice if we got it in the retail kit back in the day. It seemed like they wanted to hold onto it for a while... no clue why thoguh.

the datse stayed... its just that some sites get it at different times.. so it came out on the 15th but Amazon.com got it yesterday (the 18th)... which really makes some ppl angry (put me in that group... cause i was supposed to get it in 2 days but then amazon.com didn't check their release dates and it said i had to get it on March 5th. So i changed it and im getten it on Wed.. i think i would have gotten it on Monday if i didn't change anything. But owell its a problem that time will solve)
